Since joining Cast Iron Systems in April 2005, Ken has driven a ten-fold increase in revenue and new customers, making Cast Iron the leader in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) integration. Integration is critical to the rapid evolution from legacy applications to fully cloud-enabled business solutions. With over 20 years of success as an executive in high-technology companies, Ken continues to drive innovation at Cast Iron with the transformation from a provider of integration appliances to an innovator in cloud computing.
Ken's tenure with other pioneering collaborative and on-demand software companies has contributed directly to Cast Iron's success. At CollabNet, the leading provider of solutions for distributed software development, Ken was instrumental in transforming the company's strategy from an Open Source service model to a SaaS application sales model. During his four years at CollabNet, revenue increased over 400 percent and the customer base doubled annually.
Prior to CollabNet, Ken served as senior vice president of North American sales for Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC), the leader in enterprise Product Data Management (ePDM). Ken led the successful transformation of field sales from a predominately CAD/CAM tool focus to enterprise software selling. Under his leadership, North American sales grew to over $170 million per year. He also served for over 10 years in various executive sales and operations positions in both Europe and the United States with Amdahl Corporation.
Ken is an active board member of the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) as well as of Child Advocates of Silicon Valley, a non-profit organization focused on improving the lives of abused and neglected children. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Santa Clara University and an MBA from the London Business School.
Ron brings to this role over 20 years of direct and channel sales, business development, and product management expertise driving significant revenue growth with CRM, ERP, Master Data Management, analytics, database, and data integration companies. Prior to Cast Iron, Ron led the IBM Information Integration Solutions (formerly Ascential Software) organization, growing sales by 30%. Before that, as Vice President of Sales & Business Development, he helped build two successful CRM companies in the customer data integration and the customer analytics application markets. At Siperian Ron built direct sales and business development partnerships with BEA, IBM, PeopleSoft and Siebel Systems. At Broadbase/Kana Software he built the regional sales organization from inception and grew revenue to a $20 million run rate in three years. Ron also spent over 10 years at Sybase and NCR/Teradata, where he held various senior positions in sales, product marketing and management. Ron holds a B.S. degree in Finance from California State University, Long Beach, and an MBA in Corporate Strategy and Total Quality Management from Pepperdine University.
Since joining Cast Iron Systems in June 2004, Simon has developed and implemented the strategy that has taken Cast Iron from relative obscurity to SaaS integration industry leadership. With 18 years of success in executive and operational management at leading Bay Area and European companies, Simon is an expert in defining and executing business and product strategy as well as high-impact go-to-market plans for SaaS and enterprise solutions.
Simon's experience at other innovative technology companies has enabled him to gain a farsighted industry view and develop a proven approach to driving rapid growth. At Peakstone Corporation for example, a pioneer in SaaS application performance and availability management, he devised the corporate and go-to-market strategy that led the company to far surpass its new client acquisition goals, resulting in a successful acquisition. At Mainsoft Corporation, a provider of .NET and J2EE interoperability solutions, Simon defined and implemented the corporate and product strategy that resulted in a dramatic expansion of the company's customer base.
He also led marketing and product strategy at Vitria Technology, a 1,000-employee public Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) company, and at Micro Focus, a 2,000-employee FTSE 250 public company, that sells enterprise application understanding and modernization solutions.
Simon is a popular international speaker at SaaS and Cloud conferences such as OpSource SaaS Summit, salesforce.com’s Dreamforce, SIIA OnDemand, among other marquee industry events. He presents his insights on a range of topics pertaining to high-growth SaaS and Cloud technology and business strategies, fueled by real-world experience. He has had a plethora of whitepapers published on the evolution of SaaS, and has been quoted widely as an expert resource by the press. Simon is also a founding member of the Silicon Valley Product Management Association (SVPMA).
Rishi brings more than 14 years of technical leadership in the high-tech industry. Joining Cast Iron Systems in 2001, Rishi worked with founding members to build the product from a PowerPoint concept to the first production solution. Since that time, Rishi has shaped Cast Iron's success through his roles as Director of Engineering where he built the Cast Iron Connector team and most recently as Director of Product Management where Rishi defined the product strategy that has made Cast Iron the #1 SaaS and cloud integration company.
Prior to Cast Iron, Rishi held senior engineering roles at Teamscape Inc, an Enterprise Learning Management Platform acquired by PeopleSoft/Oracle, at WebSwap Inc., a Sequoia funded e-commerce site, and at Tata Share Registry Limited, a financial services company for India’s premier business house, the Tata Group of companies. Rishi holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in New Delhi, India.
Dan Moore manages worldwide services for Cast Iron Systems, bringing more than 17 years of senior management experience leading global professional services organizations at both start-ups and top-tier consulting organizations. Prior to joining Cast Iron, Dan led the development and implementation of a SaaS solution to track worldwide maritime cargo as the Director of Operations and Advanced programs for SaviNetworks. As Vice President of Professional Services for Saqqara Systems, he oversaw all customer implementations and operations for a SaaS catalog management solution to support over 25,000 production users in Asia, Europe, and the U.S. Dan has also served as Director of Alliances for Avaya's $700 million software portfolio and was responsible for double-digit growth in the group's OEM and partner channels. As an entrepreneur, Dan was the co-founder and CTO of OpenShelf, where he oversaw all development and customer services until the start-up's acquisition. Earlier in his career, he spent nine years at Accenture, contributing to the growth of the firm's CRM practice into one of its largest revenue drivers. He holds a BS in Finance and an M.B.A. with a concentration in Computer Science from the University of Florida.
Jennifer brings over 13 years of finance and accounting experience working with a range of companies from Internet start ups to a Fortune 500 company. Prior to joining Cast Iron Systems in October of 2006, Jennifer was Vice President of Finance at Centro (formerly Integrént), a fast-growing Internet media company where she managed all finance and human resource functions including investor financing and reporting, securing a credit line, transitioning finance software, and establishing payment policies for over 400 publishers. During her three years at Centro, the company revenue increased 12x.
As a controller at Language Stars, a language learning company, Jennifer was responsible for all financials, investor and board reporting and cash management. At Yesmail, an email marketing company, she was Assistant Controller in charge of merger and acquisition financials, month end close and forecasts. At RR Donnelley, a Fortune 500 printing company, and KPMG, a global network of professional services, Jennifer held a range of positions from Financial Reporting Analyst to Supervising Senior Auditor. Jennifer has a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Illinois State University, Bloomington and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Helen Leung brings to this role over 15 years of global experience providing human resource support and counsel to executives and senior management teams at companies such as: webMethods, Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance and Philips Electronics. Prior to joining Cast Iron, Helen was Human Resource Director for webMethods in Australia, where she ran the HR function for Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, PR China and India. She developed and implemented the human resource strategy across the region in support of the company's short and long term businesses goals. Previously, Helen served as Human Resource Manager at Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance. In this role, she worked as a pro-active HR business partner providing high level HR support across a broad range of issues from employee relations and training, to advanced HR systems. Helen holds a Bachelor of Arts, Psychology & Industrial Relations from University of New South Wales, Australia.
