Job Description*

Participate in the development of Cast Iron Systems design and implementation of our Orchestration Engine and/or Connectors product. This is an exciting opportunity to work on new technologies, partnering with product management and customers to define the product. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work with our key engineering team to help design, and develop, and the core architecture and infrastructure of our iA3000 runtime product. This ideal candidate will have excellent written and spoken communication skills, and excels at software design. This ideal candidate will also participate in working with customers on field trials prior to the initial customer release.

Essential Job Functions & Skills:

  • Design and implement the core architecture and infrastructure of the iA3000 runtime
  • Work closely with Product Management and customers to define the product
  • Keep abreast of emerging technology trends as they relate to the product

Experience:

  • 7+ years of industry experience

Technical skills:

  • Excellent server software development skills
  • Expert in Java, XML, multi-threaded programming, performance tuning
  • Strong experience in working with databases, Web Services, Web Apps, HTTP, SOAP
  • Experience with C++ preferred
  • Excellent software design skills
  • Good understanding of software engineering principles
  • Familiarity with enterprise software and middleware solutions

Personal skills:

  • Ability to work within cross-functional team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education level:

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent
