Job Description*
Cast Iron has an open position for an Account Executives based in Chicago.
The Account Executive will have full responsibility for meeting monthly new customer acquisition targets in a thriving territory. This includes booking revenues resulting from hardware products, upgrades, billable consulting services, billable education services and billable support services.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Eastern Region, the Account Executive will be responsible for executing the sales strategies and execution plans that facilitate high velocity new customer acquisitions; thus enabling Cast Iron to achieve its financial goals and establish clear leadership in the Application Integration space.
The sales model inside Cast Iron is a project-based velocity model, meaning that disciplined selling techniques for qualifying and closing deals is critical to success. Cast Iron is adding dozens of new clients per quarter at an ASP of between $60k and $200k. The organization uses Salesforce.com to drive a visible and transparent process based on the MEDDIC-F selling methodology. The AE will be expected to spend the majority of his/her time in the Field working with their respective partner counterparts to build robust pipeline that can produce results of an average of one (1) deal closed per month, per AE.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Builds pipeline to deliver velocity sales targets

Attains prescribed revenue and transaction goals

Works closely with Channel Partners to build incremental sales pipeline

Works closely with SE's to provide seamless demonstrations for prospects

Conducts short and mid-range planning of sales pipeline

Collaborates with Senior Director, East, VP of Sales and SVP, Marketing to create targeted programs mapping to vertical markets, key accounts, and other sales segments as needed

Education Level

An undergraduate degree is required. An advanced degree, ideally MBA, is highly desirable.
